The SRBR Neighbors Helping Neighbors Committee is asking for a donation of a “bottle of booze” from each of our Realtor and Affiliate members for a very merry fundraiser to help local charities.

SRBR Membership Meeting on Thursday, November 17

Join SRBR for our Membership Meeting on Thursday, November 17 at 11:30 a.m. at the Flying Goose Pub in New London. At the meeting, we will elect the 2017 slate of officers and collect Toys for Tots; please bring an unwrapped toy or gift card.

Cost is $15/pp to attend. Please RSVP to Stacy Kelley no later than noon on Friday, November 11.

SRBR “Code of Ethics” Course

The SRBR “Code of Ethics” Course with instructor Monika McGillicuddy will be held on Wednesday, November 9. Registration opens at 8:30 a.m. and class runs from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Breakfast will be provided by Norway Hill Inspections and thanks to sponsors Colby Insurance, Mascoma Savings Bank, and Red Door Title this course is FREE to all SRBR members. $35 for non SRBR members.

SRBR Annual Affiliates Day on October 27

Join us for the SRBR Annual Affiliates Day on Thursday, October 27 at The Center at Eastman in Grantham! The day begins with a General Membership Meeting and breakfast at 8:30 a.m., followed by networking and raffles with affiliates and then Round Table “Speed Dating” with 12 affiliates at 10 a.m.

New London, NH—New London’s Ben Cushing, owner of Cushing Real Estate, was recently named the Sunapee Region Board of REALTOR’s 2016 REALTOR of the Year.

Ben Cushing receives his 2016 SRBR REALTOR of the Year award from Linda Rosenthall, the 2015 ROTY.

Cushing is a New London native with nearly 20 years of real estate experience in the Lake Sunapee Region.  He’s the Vice President of SRBR, a board member of the New Hampshire Association of REALTORS, and a member of numerous state-level NHAR committees including the Finance Committee, Professional Development Committee, Legal Committee, Risk Management, Committee, and Executive Committee.

“Ben embodies the spirit of what it means to be a REALTOR®—he’s a leader among his professional peers and in his community. We are proud to recognize nearly two-decades of Ben’s work helping to make his clients’ dreams come true of living in our wonderful region of the world,” said Dan O’Halloran, SRBR President.

In 2016, Cushing was also named Lake Sunapee Region Community Member of the Year, recognizing his civic engagement. His volunteer roles include serving as a school board member for the Kearsarge Regional School District, President of the Kearsarge Booster Club, Kearsarge sports coach, and New London ballot clerk and volunteer fire fighter.

Ben and his wife, Amy, live in New London with their two sons, Tucker (12) and Andrew (10).
